Reasons why fails to briquette




During the operation of the briquetting machine, there are multiple reasons that can lead to failure in briquette formation. These causes can be divided into the following five parts according to the machine's structure:

Stacker

1.1:Inadequate surface finish of roller sleeve mold pockets increases demolding resistance, causing fragmentation of formed briquettes.
1.2:Excessive depth in mold pockets (structurally flawed design) impedes demolding, triggering secondary fragmentation of formed briquettes.
1.3:Material incompatibility between roller sleeve and briquetting feedstock (rare but critical under specific operating conditions) induces abnormal demolding resistance, ultimately leading to rupture of formed briquettes.

2:hydraulic system
2.1:Insufficient hydraulic system pressure reduces material compression force, thereby preventing briquette formation.
2.2:Hydraulic pressure fluctuations (with multiple underlying causes) – potential failure sources encompass: accumulator failure or pressure maintenance system malfunction.

3:The side clamping plates
3.1:The side clamping plates of the briquetting machine require maintaining proper operating clearance with the roller sleeves:
3.:2:Insufficient clearance → Causes abnormal frictional wear against roller sleeves
Excessive clearance → Leads to material leakage → Results in forming pressure attenuation → Causes complete briquette formation failure

4:Pre-compression Screw
Improper pitch settings in the pre-compression screw will induce feeding failures:
4.1:Undersized pitch → Feed blockage at screw section
4.2:Oversized pitch → Material backflow during compaction Both scenarios converge on: Insufficient feedstock → Forming pressure attenuation → Briquette formation failure

5:Feeding System
Unstable operation of the feeding system will induce fluctuations in forming pressure, consequently leading to:

5.1:Material overfeed → Triggers protective equipment shutdown
5.2:Material underfeed → Intermittent material starvation in forming chamber → Pressure energy depletion → Briquette formation failure
